    We are using The Beginners Bible. There should be a few at your Site so the children can ‘read’ the story with you.

    You can help them find the page and then tell them when to turn to the next one. He helps them feel like they are involved in the story telling.

    Or you could show them the video.

    Big Point - Prayer is our greatest weapon

    Bible Story Acts 12: 5-17 The church pray for Peter

    Philippians 4:6 says ‘Do not worry about anything. But pray and ask God for everything you need. And when you pray, always give thanks.’

    We want the children to learn  that prayer works.

    It is the ultimate weapon against any challenge.

    When you need help, when someone you love needs help, sound the horn, and say a prayer!

    God hears every single word that is spoken or thought.

    He hears when we cry out for help.

    He hears when we pray for those who have been hurt or are unwell. God wants us to call to him whenever we or anyone we know is in distress.

    God will hear, and God will answer.  Prayer is the ultimate weapon against the challenges we face in our lives.

    Let’s commit ourselves to being prayer warriors, and let’s pray constantly.

  • My Friend Jesus

    Friendship is important to children. In this series we want to introduce them to the fact that Jesus wants to be their friend. He knows each one of them and He loves them. 

    The children will hear and learn through several Gospel stories how Jesus was a friend to others and how He wants to be a friend to us.

    Our prayer is that what they hear won’t stay as head knowledge, but they will come to know Jesus personally even at this young age, knowing they can always talk to Him and that He loves to talk to them.

    We want them to know the fullness of knowing Jesus as their Lord, friend and Saviour.

    To help you do this we’ve provided a 7 week curriculum pack full of ideas for you to adapt and use, along with 7 stories or video stories  - one for each week.

  • Life with Jesus

    Exploring the Armour of God

    Teaching children about the Armour of God empowers them to handle spiritual, emotional, and social challenges—like fear, peer pressure, and temptation—by relying on God's strength rather than their own.

    It reminds them that they are not on their own and that whatever they face Jesus is always by their side and that they can trust Him in all situations.

    The Large Group Time is very flexible as regard to how it is delivered. There is an Emmanuel Kids Escape Room to introduce the ‘Armour’ for the session and also a suggested video from Youtube to tell the story, or you could use your own ideas.
