Curriculum Overview
-
The Easter Story
We are looking at some of the key events leading up to Good Friday and Easter, as well as the days after.
We want the children to see that Easter is not just about a day that we celebrate once a year, but an event that happened thousands of years ago that is relevant to us everyday.
We want them to know that without Easter we would be forever separated from God.
But by Jesus coming down to earth from heaven and dying on the cross and coming back to life again, our relationship with God is restored, not just for now but forever when Jesus is our Lord and Saviour.

Each week the children will hear a Sensory Story - Sensory stories are a great way to help the story come alive as the children are actively engaged in it, rather than passive listeners.
They make the stories accessible, engaging, and memorable by stimulating multiple senses - sight, sound, touch, smell and taste - alongside the narrative.
