Team Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible to: Weekly Team Leader

    Overall Role:

    1. To work with the Kids team in delivering an age-appropriate, engaging, relevant morning.

    2. Where appropriate to work with a small group of children in discussion, activities and prayer.

    Key Tasks:

    1.   To read and familiarise themselves with the Weekly Notes ahead of serving.

    2. To help set up and prepare for the morning in their age group, including the whole team brief.

    3.  To pray with the team for the morning.

    4. To get involved with the activities during Activity Stations, giving guidance where needed.

    5. To engage the children in relevant discussions based on the morning’s topic. 

    6. To provide leadership and guidance in small groups (where appropriate)

    7. To help the children stay focused during the Large Group Time, when all the children are together.

    8. To take an active part in the above i.e. being involved in dramas, reading, praise and prayer times.

    9. To attend relevant training sessions and socials during the year.

    10. To familiarise themselves with the Church’s Safeguarding Policy. 

    11. To help with the clearing away at the end of the session and attend the debrief.

    Overall Role

    To work with the Kids Core Team/Champion in delivering best practice each week using the material provided.

    Key Tasks
    As above and:

    1. Carrying the central DNA, but with theflavour unique to their site.

    2.  To communicate with their team the week they are serving, to encourage them and also delegate to them.

    3.  To model best practice in their area of Emmanuel Kids with the resources they have.

    4. To attend Emmanuel Kids Team Meetings with Kids Core Team/Champion

    5. To oversee the running of the morning.

    Overall Role

    To work with Age Group Leaders in delivering best practice each week using the material provided.

    Key Tasks
    As above and:

    1. Carrying the central DNA, but with theflavour unique to their site.

    2.  To communicate with their Weekly Leaders regularly, to encourage them and hear feedback.

    3.  To review and model best practice in their area of Emmanuel Kids with the resources they have.

    4. To attend Central Emmanuel Kids Team Meetings with Head of Emmanuel Kids.

    5. To work with the Site Administration to deliver the Kids Rota each term

    6. To meet, place and encourage new Team members giving training where needed.

    7. To oversee the running of Emmanuel Kids at their Sites. 

    8. To be part of the Central Kids WhatsApp Group.

    9. To do Shared Learning with the other sites.

    10. To feedback to the Head of Emmanuel Kids to help shape and improve Emmanuel Kids.
